  • Designing and building bioinformatics pipelines

  • Collaborate with our full-stack engineering team from a bioinformatics perspective on building out efficient, performant, ML-driven -omics workflows, including but not limited to: whole genome/exome sequencing, RNAseq (single-cell and bulk), ChIP-Seq, ATAC-seq (single-cell and bulk), proteomics, metabolomics and drug design

  • Creating interactive applications through Python and React

  • Engaging with customers (both biologists and bioinformaticians) on their deployment of the Superbio platform

  • Propose and implement more sophisticated, bespoke bioinformatics analyses upon customer request

  • Research best practices and develop optimal solutions for novel problems


  • Strong biology background and excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience of applying analysis and/or machine learning techniques in the context of biological research. Knowledge of bioinformatics and data science best practices (Quality-control, exploratory data analyses, existing industry standard open-source tools)

  • Experience of conducting analysis using Python and/or R. Experience with specific libraries such as scikit-learn, Keras and Biopython, or their R equivalents

  • Experience with building and using bioinformatics workflows

  • Ability to research and develop optimal solutions
